Today's special guest is Joseph Bruchac, a writer, storyteller, and citizen of the Nulhegan Band of the Coosuk Abenaki Nation. Joseph's poem "Rabbit Dance" draws on traditional Native American stories about the Rabbit People.

Find "Rabbit Dance" and many more interactive poems in Hop To It: Poems to Get You Moving, an anthology of 100 poems by award-winning poets from around the world, edited by Sylvia Vardell and Janet Wong.

What footprints have you noticed in the snow or in the soft spring mud? Try writing a poem about how those footprints were formed.

Happy poetry reading and writing, everyone!
