Poem Share #15: Eileen Meyer Presents "Best Use of An Accessory"

POEM SHARE: Children's poets from across the county presenting their favorite poems for Poetry Month and beyond!

When you picture Abraham Lincoln, you probably imagine him wearing a stovepipe hat.  But did you know that he used that hat in an unexpected way? In this Poem Share of "Best Use of An Accessory: Lincoln's Stovepipe Hat Speaks Out," children's author and poet Eileen Meyer, explains the clever way Lincoln used his famous accessory.  This poem is in the form of a mask or persona poem, or a poem written from the point of view of an object, animal, or person other than the poet.
